Kristi Hedges is a senior leadership coach and the author of The Inspiration Code and The Power of Presence. Her workshops and leadership coaching programs have been utilized by companies spanning the Fortune 500, government, non-profit and privately held businesses.

Kristi contributes to Harvard Business Review, writes a leadership column for Forbes, and has been featured in publications such as MSNBC, Dallas Morning News, and Financial Times. She’s been honored as one of the “50 Women Who Mean Business in Washington” by the Washington Business Journal.

Prior to Element North, Kristi co-founded and ran one of the top technology communications firms in the Washington, D.C. area. Her career highlights also include working for a national news outlet, and as a political consultant for dozens of electoral campaigns from U.S. President to statewide offices. She actively supports the entrepreneurial community, serving on the boards of Mindshare and TiE-DC, and as a mentor in the Founder Institute.

Kristi holds a B.A. from Virginia Tech and an M.S. from Purdue University. She is an ICF-certified coach (PCC) credentialed through Georgetown University, and is certified in the BarOn EQi™ measurement of emotional intelligence and the Hogan Assessment Suite. She is a faculty member for Georgetown’s Institute for Transformational Leadership.
